Carrot & Braccoli Juice
Summer is the season for sweet corn, sun-ripened tomatoes, and countless outdoor shindigs. And, let’s be real—bacon is always in season.
Once the outdoor cooking season kicks off, it only makes sense to combine avocados and tomatoes with the smoky sweet flavors of charred sweet corn and bacon. You’ve been forewarned, this guacamole will be on heavy rotation.
1 carrot, about 55 g/2 oz, peeled and cut into small chunks about 4 tbsp water 25 g/1 oz fresh tender broccoli florets 1 large orange, peeled and divided into segments Worcestershire sauce, to taste crushed ice 1 celery stick orange slice, to decorate.
1 With the motor running in a smoothie machine or blender, drop in the carrot then pour in about 2 tablespoons of the water. Add the broccoli and another 2 tablespoons of water, then add the orange segments. 2 dd a few dashes of Worcestershire sauce and blend until smooth. Put some crushed ice into a tumbler and pour over the juice. Add a celery stick for stirring, then decorate with an orange slice and serve.
