One of the most famous Emirati dishes and one of the main foods on the Ramadan table and on special occasions.

A plate is puree love (i.e. wheat) cooked with meat. Hit the cooked mash with the meat until well mixed, then add ghee to it when serving. Since ancient times, the process of preparing mash was complicated, difficult, and took a long time, as tools such as bias, lewan, and twine were used. But today, with the development of cooking utensils and the presence of pressure cookers, mashing has become much easier to prepare.

The Majus

A delicious dish made with meat (or chicken). Prepared with many types of spices, such as turmeric, dry lemon, cinnamon and cardamom, which give the dish an irresistible taste. Roast meat (or chicken) with this spice, then add rice and leave the mixture until tender.

Emiratis have also been known, by virtue of the surrounding environment of the country, for cooking fish of various types and sizes in addition to other seafood. Among the most delicious dishes consisting of fish, we find "Al-Jashid", a dish of yeroori (meaning small shark), cooked with a number of spices mixed with each other such as turmeric, dry lome, cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper. Serve well, with rice, lemon slices, radish, and garlic sauce
